Editorial standards

The principles that guide how we report, verify, correct and present the news. We publish them so you can hold us to them.

Accuracy and verification

We check facts before publication against primary sources wherever possible: official statements and filings, court and legislative records, company reports, data releases and direct interviews.

Numbers are reported with their source and date. When figures are estimates, forecasts or preliminary results, we say so in the text. If a fact cannot be independently confirmed, we attribute it clearly to the organisation or person making the claim.

Sourcing and attribution

Every article lists its main sources at the end, with links where they are publicly available, so readers can check our work. We credit other news organisations when we rely on their reporting.

We use anonymous sources only when the information is important, cannot be obtained on the record, and comes from someone in a position to know. Editors must know the identity of any anonymous source, and we explain to readers why anonymity was granted.

Corrections and updates

When we make a factual error, we correct it as quickly as possible and add a note at the end of the article explaining what changed. We do not quietly delete mistakes.

Significant updates to a developing story are marked with the time of the update. Minor changes to spelling, grammar or style may be made without a note when they do not change the meaning.

Independence and conflicts of interest

Our journalists do not accept gifts, payments or free travel that could influence their coverage. Staff must disclose any financial interest or personal relationship connected to a story they are assigned, and editors will reassign the story where necessary.

Advertisers and commercial partners have no role in editorial decisions and never review articles before publication.

Use of artificial intelligence

We may use software tools, including AI-assisted tools, for tasks such as transcription, translation drafts, data analysis and headline testing. A human editor reviews and takes responsibility for everything we publish.

We do not publish AI-generated images as news photography. Photographs on our site are real images from licensed or freely licensed sources, credited where required.

Images and visual content

Photos are chosen to accurately represent the subject of an article. Where we use an illustrative or file image rather than a photo of the specific event, we choose images that do not mislead readers about what took place.

We do not alter news photographs beyond standard adjustments such as cropping, exposure and colour balance.

News, analysis and opinion

News reports aim to present facts fairly and include relevant perspectives. Analysis pieces explain and interpret events, drawing on evidence. Opinion pieces, when we publish them, are clearly labelled and reflect the views of the author.

Sponsored and partner content

Content paid for by an advertiser is always labelled as sponsored and visually distinguished from our journalism. Our newsroom does not write sponsored content, and sponsors cannot influence news coverage.

Questions readers ask

Use the contact form on our Contact page and choose “Corrections” as your subject, or email info@worldpulsepro.com with the article link and the specific issue. An editor will review every report.

No. We never accept payment in exchange for news coverage, favourable reviews or the removal of accurate reporting.

Editors prioritise stories by their significance to readers, their public interest and whether we can add verified facts or useful context beyond what is already available.

We do not remove accurate journalism because someone dislikes it. We will review requests involving factual errors, legal issues or genuine safety concerns, and we update or annotate articles when warranted.

Every article is reviewed by an editor before publication. The editorial team is collectively responsible for applying these standards.
