Austin North, best known for playing Topper on Netflix’s Outer Banks, is engaged. His girlfriend, fitness coach and social media creator Cali Fuller, shared the news on Instagram on Sunday, October 11, posting photos from a backyard proposal. North reposted the announcement to his own Instagram story.
How they shared the news
Fuller’s post paired the proposal photos with a short, reflective caption and set them to Cory Asbury’s worship song “Reckless Love.” In a separate video showing off her ring, she described the proposal as the biggest surprise of her life.
Their relationship so far
The couple went public with their relationship on Instagram in January 2026, when both shared photos confirming they were dating. Fuller, whose profile notes that she moved to Nashville in October 2025, has since posted regular glimpses of their time together, and North, 30, has done the same on his account.
Who is Austin North?
North first became known to younger audiences on the Disney Channel sitcom I Didn’t Do It, where he played Logan Watson. He joined Outer Banks in its first season in 2020 as Topper Thornton, a wealthy “Kook” whose rivalry with the Pogues made him one of the show’s most debated characters. Over later seasons, the character’s storyline softened, and North became a fan favourite on social media.
Castmates celebrate
The comments quickly filled with congratulations from the Outer Banks family:
- Madison Bailey, who plays Kiara, sent an excited message of congratulations to the couple.
- Chase Stokes, the show’s John B, congratulated North and called him “brother.”
- Jonathan Daviss, who plays Pope, offered his congratulations in similar terms.
- J. Anthony Crane, who plays Ward Cameron, praised the news and called North a gentleman.
The warm response reflects how close the cast has remained over the show’s run, with many of the actors regularly supporting one another’s milestones on social media.
What’s next
The couple has not shared a wedding date or any details about their plans.
